Is there an upgrade from prior versions of Sitemaster 200® to the new version?

Yes, Matrix Security sells upgrades directly. Click on this Products link to find out about all of our upgrades.

I just got my copy of the older version, is there an upgrade for me?

Yes, free upgrades are based on the serial number of the older version. Contact Matrix Security (1-800-622-4893) to find out if you are entitled to a free upgrade.

Can I load my data in from a previous version of Sitemaster 200®?

Yes, the new version will load the data of all previous versions of Sitemaster 200®.

I have been using another key control system (or my own home-grown program), can I load that data into Sitemaster 200®?

Not directly.  However, there is a SpecWorks Template File that may help. The Help Manual covers how to use the file.

Can I download a demonstration version?

Yes, click on the Docs & Downloads link to get the demonstration software.

What are the limitations on the demonstration version?

The demonstration version is fully functional with its only limitation being the number of records you can enter.

If I enter data into the demonstration version, can I use it in the live version?

Yes. When you activate Sitemaster 200® to make it a live version, it can use any compatible data set, including the demonstration data.

I need more than one user to be able to access Sitemaster 200®.  Can I do that?

Yes.  The single user version will allow multiple people to access the system, but only one person at a time.  If you need more than one person to be able to access it at the same time, you will need the multi-user version of the program.

How do I get a multi-user version?

The multi-user version is available as an upgrade purchase from IR Distribution. If you have the Demonstration software or the Single User version, you can order a Registration Number that converts the software to Multi-User. However, if you own a prior version of SITEMASTER 200 (i.e., 1.3, 2.84) you get the Multi-User version directly form us.

How can I tell if I have a multi-user version?

Sitemaster 200® will tell you. Under the Help Menu, select Sitemaster 200® Serial Number….  The screen that appears will identify the version as Single user or Multi-user.

What is the best way to enter data into Sitemaster 200®?

What versions of Windows does it require?

Sitemaster 200® will run on any Windows version from Windows 98 through the current versions but we recommend at least Windows 2000.
