New Version 3 Features: 3.161 (11/24/2008) 1. This version fixes a known bug. See Bug Fixes. 3.16 (08/14/2008) 1. Auto-Updater - This feature was developed primarily for customers with the Multi-User version of SITEMASTER 200® but it can also be used with the Single User version. It allows your IT group to download and place the most recent SITEMASTER 200® Update file at a central location on the server. Whenever program users run Sitemaster 200® the program automatically checks the location for a newer update. If a newer update is found, the update is installed. 2. Limit Users By Building - On the Users Screen, you can now limit a user to the records for a specific building or multiple buildings. Restrictions may apply to Building Information, Assets, and when issuing keys by Building/Room. This can be combined with the Limit Users By Department feature. 3. Schlage and Falcon Registered Key System Protection - After a Factory Key System is imported from Schlage or Falcon Lock Companies, the Create System Keys Wizard is disabled for that specific system. This protects the registered system from being compromised with this wizard. Key Systems that are not imported from the Factory are not affected by this feature. 3.15 (11/17/2007) 1. This version fixes known bugs, and only contains minor updates. 3.14 (11/04/2006) 1. Create System Keys (The Combinator) > After you build a new system, both the Levels and the KBA screens remember how you had previously set them up. The next time you use the Combinator for that system, you'll see the levels of keying, expansion specification, starting symbols, sequence of progression, and the bitting progressions that were previously built. The Combinator continues to remember the information for the highest number of levels that were built. 2. Originally, you could not delete a person if that person was still issued keys. We changed this later so that you could, but the key was still marked as issued and it's issuance status could not be changed. Now, when you delete a person with key issuances, the person is marked as inactive and is removed from the Personnel Screen. The key(s) retains its issuance status but this can be modified so that the key(s) can be restored. You also have an option to "Recall" (restore) a person who was previously deleted and who had keys issued. After you download this new update and Perform File Maintenance, any issued keys to deleted personnel will be released and marked as lost and no longer issued on the Key Numbers Screen. If deleted personnel come back and return keys, use the Found button on the Key Numbers Screen to put the key(s) back into circulation. See Help Manual (v.3.14) > Issuing Keys > Deleting Personnel with Key Issuances. 3.13 (08/22/2006) 1. New Mass Assign Features: a) Mass assign Departments to Rooms - On the Departments Screen, use the Binoculars button on the new Rooms Assigned List to mass assign the selected department to multiple rooms. The new Rooms Assigned List displays all of the rooms for the selected department. b) Mass assign Functions to Rooms - On the Functions Screen, use the Binoculars button on the new Rooms Assigned List to mass assign the selected function to multiple rooms. The new Rooms Assigned List displays all of the rooms for the selected function. c) Mass assign Door Types to Doors - On the Door Types Screen, use the Binoculars button on the new Doors Assigned List to mass assign the selected door type to multiple doors. The new Doors Assigned List displays all of the doors for the selected door type. d) Mass assign Door Functions to Doors - On the Door Functions Screen, use the Binoculars button on the new Doors Assigned List to mass assign the selected door function to multiple doors. The new Doors Assigned List displays all of the doors for the selected door function. e) Mass assign Products to Doors - On the Products Screen, use the Binoculars button on the Product Usage list to mass assign the selected product to multiple doors. f) Mass assign a key as an operating key of multiple cylinders - On the Key Usage sub screen in Key Numbers, a Binoculars button has been added to the Key Also Operates List. This allows you to look up and select multiple cylinders that the selected key number will then operate. 2. Create System Keys Wizard - A new Current Master Keys List has been added to the Levels and KBA screens so that you can view the master keys and their bittings that have already been added to the key system. 3. SpecWorks import modification - If an end user's factory key system is imported into SiteMaster from Schlage or Falcon, you can then assign any of those matching key symbols in SpecWorks without having to know the key system bittings. When you import the SpecWorks' file into SiteMaster, all of the cylinder/core to door assignments are automatically handled. 3.12 (06/07/2006) 1. The Create Key Numbers and Cylinders Wizard - A brand new wizard for creating your key number and cylinder records simultaneously. Whether your key number information is complete or incomplete, this wizard will create your records and link the keys and cylinders to the key system. This lets you quickly create the cylinder records so you can get them assigned to your doors and rooms. The wizard also lets you create selective master keyed, multiple control keyed, single-keyed, and special situation keyed cylinders. Before using the wizard, you simply add your master keys to your key system and set up any Parent Key relationships between the masters. Then on the wizard screen, you select a Parent Key (master) and type your key number (change key) records into a list. Any other masters in the system hierarchy are automatically combinated. You can also modify the operating keys that are to be combinated. You can continue to add keys and cylinders under different master keys, different operating keys, and even different key systems without having to exit the wizard. 2. List of Progressions - We've added the List of Progressions report that was previously only available with the Create System Keys Wizard (The Combinator), and have added it to the Reports Menu under Key System Listings. 3. Key System Pinning Charts - This new report under Key System Listings, allows you to select a Key System to display all Pinning Charts for cylinders that are unassigned, assigned, or both. 4. The Keyway field has been added to the Key Issuances list in Personnel. 5. Feature Change - On the Main Button Bar the Quick Start Help button has been changed to Data Entry Help. This opens a new topic that helps you to get started quickly with data entry. You can access the 1-2-3 Quick Start Guide from this topic. 3.11 (05/05/2006) 1. Personnel Importer - If your site has personnel records in another database, you can import the records into SITEMASTER 200® if your personnel data can be saved as a comma-separated Text file. 2. Import Factory Key Systems ordered from IR's Key Records department - You can now directly import the key systems that you order from Schlage or Falcon. The program lets you create the initial key quantities and serialize the keys prior to import. During the import, all of the cylinders are created including the Pinning Screens and Pinning Charts. Note: Some SFIC systems are not supported in this update but will be supported in the next update release. 3. Cylinders - When adding cylinders manually to the program, you can assign all of the Master Keys and/or Operating Keys at once. 4. Cylinders - Open Cross Keying > For any cylinder, you can selectively empty the chamber(s) of pins in order to allow all bitting combinations to operate that chamber position(s). The Pinning Screen displays the empty chamber(s), as well as all of the operating keys. 5. Doors - The three fields, Width, Height, and Thickness have been added to the door record. This information also imports from IR's SpecWorks program. 6. Quick Reports - The Quick Reports have been moved from the pull-down Utilities Menu over to the Reports Menu. 7. Authorized Signers - When you issue keys or key rings, you can now assign the Authorized Signer to the issuance. The Authorized Signers now show up on the Key Number Issuance Listing, and Key Rings Listing with Personnel reports. 3.08 (01/22/2006) 1. Training Videos (CD Version Only) - SITEMASTER 200® Training Videos are now included, and run within the software. These videos cover all of the operations and features of the program. The videos are self running and some include audio. If you've got the downloaded version of the software, you can also download individual Training Videos from this website. Click on the "Training" link above. 2. New Program Updater - Starting with this new version, we've created a drag-and-drop software updater. After you download the update, you simply drop it into the SITEMASTER 200® v3.0 folder on your hard drive. 3. Pre-loaded Manufacturers' Systems - In version 3.07 we pre-load Schlage and Falcon Manufacturer Systems into Livedata, and when you create a new data set. When using some of the data loading wizards, such as the Rekey Rooms Wizard to look up the Keyway and system assignment for Cylinders, the list of keyway records to pick from was very long. Now, the Keyway drop down box is limited only to the keyways for key numbers that you actually use. 4. When importing a Specworks file that contains the Key Schedule, you now choose the Manufacturer's System and Key System for the key assignments. Previously, the program was trying to "guess" what the correct system should be. 5. The Symbol Information sub-screen in Key Numbers now includes a Key Registry Number field for Master Keys. This information also appears in the System Master Keys list on the Key Systems screen. 6. When using the Combinator (Create System Keys Wizard) to create key numbers by the Blind Sequence or Blind Code methods, you can now type in a Start Value at which to begin the sequence numbering. 7. On the Keyways Screen two new subscreens have been added that allow you to reassign keyways to your existing key numbers and cylinders. For example, if you have key numbers and cylinders in the program without keyway assignments, you can now mass assign keyways to them. 3.07 (10/31/2005) 1. Import from Specworks™ - You now can import your new construction project, that's been specified in Ingersoll-Rand's Specworks™ software directly into Sitemaster 200®. This can include buildings, rooms, doors, the door hardware, key numbers, and cylinders. You wind up with a fully loaded program! Contact an IR Security and Safety Consultant to find out how you will benefit when your projects are specified in Specworks™. See Help Manual > Site Utilities > Importing From Specworks™. 2. New Export/Import Feature - Designed for the Service Provider, this feature allows the end user's hardware and keying information to be automatically updated. Whenever the service provider re-keys doors or replaces hardware this information can be exported and emailed to the customer who imports the information. See Help Manual > Site Utilities > Sharing Data Between Programs. 3. Quick Key Number look up Report - Type in the Building and Room to look up the key and its tag number. See Help Manual > Key Numbers > Locate Key Number by Building/Room. 4. New Hardware Group Reports - One report displays the rooms and doors assigned to the different hardware groups. The second report displays all of the hardware in each group. See Help Manual > Reports > Hardware Groups. 5. Warranty Expiration - The Warranty Expiration field on the Hardware record for the door, is now automatically updated when you type in the Warranty (Months) information on the Products Screen. 6. Products - When adding a new product the Quantity is defaulted to one (1). 7. Who's Got Access? We've added a "Who's Got Access" button on both the Asset and Room Information Screens. The buttons launch reports that list all personnel who have access to a specific asset or room. 8. Field Structure Report - A new field structure report located in the pull-down Help Menu lists the complete specifications for every field in the program. 9. Change Serialized Status for Key Numbers - You can now change the serialized status for keys even after you've created key quantities. The program takes the number of keys created and assigns them serial numbers. You can edit the serial numbers if necessary. This feature works as long as the Total Keys Created equals the Total Keys Available on the Key Number Screen. 3.05 (7/07/2005) 1. Additional ODBC components have been added to the software. 3.04 (6/20/2005) 1. Users Screen - We've added a "Limit Records to These Departments" list that allows you to assign a single or multiple departments to a user. The user's access to records is then limited to the departments that are listed. See Help Manual > Users > Customizing Users > Limit Records to These Departments. 2. Key Systems > Create System Keys - You can now modify the Key Bitting Array by omitting any of the assigned progression numbers. You can also change a progression number to match any number of the TMK (Top Master Key) in order to defeat Total Position Progression. See Help Manual > Key Systems > Modifying the Key Bitting Array > Defeating Total Position Progression. |
