Look up and select the
file that you received from
Allegion.
Decide if you want to serialize your keys.
With a large system it's best to decide now,
or you will need to manually change the
status later one key at a time.
For more information, see the Locksmith
Setup Screen instructions in the built-in Help
Manual.
If your order includes cut keys with equal
quantities, such as two keys each, for
example, you can enter that quantity.
Otherwise, if you have quantities that vary,
leave the quantity set to zero. You can create
the other quantities later.
Select the correct Manufacturer's
System type for the import. If you
don't know then find out.
My system type is the
Schlage Everest 29 S
Family 6 Pin.
if this is your first import, you need to provide
a name for the new Key System that gets
loaded. Full Version users should be careful
to spell the name correctly, because you
cannot edit the name later.
If you've already added a Key System
under this Manufacturer's System, select
it by using the drop-down button.
Always make sure that when you select
an existing system or add a new system,
that the file to import matches your
selection. For example, if the file is to
expand your existing system, then you
don't want to add a new Key System for
that.
