Managing the maintenance, and user
access to your datasets.
No Audio
When you install SiteMaster, the
program creates two Datasets. For
training purposes, you can restrict
your users to Demodata until they're
ready to proceed with data entry.
Then you may provide them access
to the SM20040 dataset.
Continue
This means that
any
user added to
this list, has access to the dataset as
an administrator over in the User
program. This allows this user to set
up the access rights for other non-
administrator users to the screens
and objects in the Users program.

Use the Binoculars button to add
another user, and the Clear Record
button to remove a user.
Adding a user to this list simply
grants the user access to the
dataset.
You can also perform these two
features in the Users Admin
Screen.
Perform File Maintenance is used to reindex the
program's tables when something goes wrong,
such as a crash or power surge. It will also
attempt to repair data that may have become
corrupted. Do not use this feature unless it's
necessary or recommended by Matrix Security.

The Backup/Restore data
system.
SiteMaster creates a
backup copy of
Demodata that is
uniquely named.
Use these two buttons to
restore from backup, that
will overwrite your
existing data, or to delete
the backup dataset.
This feature, copies the data from
the dataset you select, and loads it
into the existing dataset
overwriting any data. For example,
you may wish to keep the data
that you've added to Demodata.
You can then load that data into
the SM20040 dataset that's empty.
