IMPORTING BUILDING INFORMATION
With Audio
From your own file or from SpecWorks
MARK = DOOR
INSIDELOCATION = ROOM

Note: If you do not use Room Numbers,
you can copy your Door Numbers from
the MARK column, and paste them into
the INSIDELOCATION column. This
means that your room records in
SiteMaster are your door records.

Room 100 is assigned Doors 100-1 & 100-2
Room 105 is assigned Doors 105-1, 105-2, and 105-3.

You can add Room Functions
to the Room records.
You also have the option to
add Door Descriptions that are
displayed in the Doors List Box
such as "To Mech Room."
OUTSIDELOCATION = Door Description

have been added to the
Doors list.
This data adds Products
to doors. In this example,
Schlage cylinders are
being assigned.
CATALOGNO = Part Number
This data is loaded to the
Products and Door
Hardware Screens in
SITEMASTER 200

IMPORTANT: The CylQty column
tells SITEMASTER 200
®
that the
products assigned a "1" are
Cylinder Products that can be
keyed and re-keyed.
In SiteMaster, the cylinder
product is displayed in
the door record for 105-3.
Make sure you also include
the Section (Keyway(s)) for
the Key Group assignments.

have received their
cylinder assignments.
IMPORTING YOUR OWN BUILDING
INFORMATION FILE, OR A PREPARED
SPECWORKS
TM
FILE.
Use the Browse button
to look up and select
your file.
Decide now, if you're going to serialize your
keys or not.
Note: If your file does not contain keys, the key
information will be ignored by SiteMaster.
However, to turn the Finish button on, you must
select a Key System, but not Add New.
You have the option to enter the
quantity of cut keys that you want
to add for each key that gets
imported, such as two keys each.
If you have different key quantities
for your cut keys, then just leave
the quantity as zero.
Select the Manufacturer's
System that matches the
keys in your file.
If you have already added the
corresponding Key System for the file,
then select it using the drop-down
button.
If you need to add the Key System, then
you will edit the Add New name to the
name you want to give to your system.
If your file does not contain keys, select
one of the Generic Manufacturer's
Systems using the drop down button.
Then, select the corresponding
Generic Key System, so that the
Finish button turns on.
Click the Finish button to
import your file.

Importing Key Groups
The "A" Master is cut
on the C140 keyway.
The Bitting (Positions) data is
optional. You can later add the
bittings on the Key Numbers
Screen in SITEMASTER 200.
Like the Masters, add
your Control Key(s) and
type in the word
CONTROL here.
In this example, I have gone ahead and imported my
file. Now, I'll show you how to add and mass-assign
the GGM to all of your Cylinder/Core records.
Go to Key Numbers.
My imported Key
Numbers without
the GGM.
Let's add the GGM.
I'm using serialized
keys in my system.
After you type in the
key information then
Save the record.
Go to Key Usage.
You use the Key Also
Operates list box to
look up the
Cylinder/Cores.
Click the Binoculars
button.
You have different
options to look up the
records. I'll use Find All.
You can multi-select
individual records, but I
need to select them all.
I'll click Accept to
assign the GGM to all
of the Cylinders.
These Cylinders are now
operated by the GGM.
I'll jump to the records.
here we see the GGM
added to the first
cylinder record, AA1.
