SiteMaster tracks both serialized and non-
serialized keys. For serialized keys, there are
two types of methods. The classic or default
method is used when you do not have this
option checked. When checked, as keys are
created (cut), every key that's made regardless
of key number, receives a unique serial number.
If
checked
= Unique Serial
Numbers:
AA1 #1
AA7 #2
AA2 #3
AA9 #4
AA1 #5
One of each key number is cut in
the order diplayed. Unique serial
numbers are assigned sequentially,
regardless of the key number.
If
not
checked = Default
Serialization:
AA1 #1
AA1 #2
AA2 #1
AA2 #2
Two of each key number are cut.
Default serial numbers are
assigned sequentially under each
individual key number.
This feature is used when issuing keys to
Personnel. If not checked, when you try to
issue a key that has not been made (zero
available), the program will prompt you that
there are none available to issue, and will then
ask you if you want to create another key.
